Bats in the Belfry

Starting a blog is scary business. The first post is absolutely daunting, 'What do I say?' is the question continually running through your head. 'Will readers like what I have to say?' is also a big question. If you can't appeal to readers, then there isn't any point in writing. So now I have my first blog post under way, lets start the introductions.

My name is Charlie and I am a teenager living in rainy old England. I have never been abroad and I have a lot of brothers and sisters. 6 to be exact. You are probably wondering what 'Bats in the Belfry' means. It basically means you're a crazy person. And as I am one, I thought it would be fitting.

My idea of this blog is to express myself. It may be in a story, or just a post like this one. I like to write what my heart desires, not what I am supposed to write. Take for example this blog post. In your first blog post you are meant to list everything about yourself, the reasons for your blog and why people should bother to follow you. I have tried to stick by those 'rules', but as a rebellious teenager, I like to do things my way.

I moved to England two years ago after spending years in the Isle of Man. I am not the island type, I need space, and a lot of it. I didn't exactly get to move to my ideal location, I'm a northern lass and I cannot stand the beach. So where do we move? The beach. In the South.

So I should really tell you about my interests. There aren't many so this should be over rather quickly.

I love to write, as you can tell by this never ending post, I apologise for that. But it's going to happen often. I preferably like to write Scripts, currently me and my best friend are writing a TV Show called, 'Me... and the Other One'. We have a separate blog for that, so if you would like to know more about it, check it out.

I'm also interested in animals, preferably Dogs. My life long passion is to own an English Springer Spaniel. It took me a while (13 years...) but I did finally get a dog, even though it wasn't up to my standards... She ended up to be my best friend. Soppy stuff eh?

Cute huh? She is a Bichon Frixe X Minature Poodle, what they call a Bichipoo. She was two on the 14th.

Well, I better wrap this blog up, I'm expecting my Mother to come home any minute, and I have to go get a drink!

Another thing you're meant to put in your first post is to explain that you would love comments and feedback on your blogs. But, as I am a teenager we don't do it in a dignified matter like that. We say stuff like this:
